(KSL News) The national attention being given to the FLDS Church due to the raids has also brought another group into the spotlight: the Lost Boys.

The group is made up of teenage boys cast out of the polygamist community, sometimes for breaking rules and sometimes just due to population.

In a community where each man has three to four wives, some boys are seen as extras. "In all of these groups, there's not enough women to go around," explained John Lewellyn, an FLDS expert.

The Lost Boys first came to the attention of Utah authorities when they filed a civil lawsuit against Warren Jeffs and the FLDS Church. That suit was later dropped.
