CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) — If you're uncorking one of five relatively new additions to Utah liquor stores, make a toast to the Cedar Band of Paiute Indians.
The Cedar City-based group is producing the handful of varieties under the Twisted Cedar label.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/V2AP0Z ) a cabernet sauvignon, malbec and a moscato are available in Utah state liquor stores.
A Twisted Cedar chardonnay and zinfandel are available by special order.
The products are produced and bottled in California but the company has offices in Cedar City.
The wines are also available in 10 other states: Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.
