FALLON, Nev. (AP) — Churchill County sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of a 45-year-old man who had been reported missing more than a week ago.
Sheriff Ben Trotter says a jogger found Howard Shell's remains on Wednesday near Fallon about 3 miles northwest of where he last had been seen alive.
Trotter says there are no obvious signs of foul play. He says an autopsy is pending to determine an exact cause of death.
Shell was reported missing on July 25.
