(KSL News) A man accused of setting off a pipe bomb at the main Salt Lake City Library wants one of the charges against him dropped.
Thomas Zajac currently faces federal charges, including possessing an explosive device in an attempt to damage or destroy a building.

However, his lawyers argue federal charges are not warranted because the bomb did not disrupt interstate commerce.
Prosecutors claim since the library receives taxpayer funds, its services extend beyond state borders.
