Allen Communication is a service company focused on elevating the way companies educate and train employees. Company CEO Ron Zamir (zuh-mirr) says they will help write and design content for training programs and produce that content with many forms, often utilizing other local vendors for translation work. Their performance consultants create custom learning portals unique to a company so it can expand training globally. They work with some of the largest companies across the U.S. including Fortune 500 companies with anywhere from 5,000 to 50,000 employees.
A key part of operating any successful business is making sure everyone is on the same page and has received the necessary training to help them be successful at their assigned responsibilities. That makes training a key part of any company, which is why Allen Communication in Salt Lake City has been growing at a steady rate of 20 percent year over year.
They have a large segment dedicated to working with nonprofit organizations to train volunteers and employees. Allen Communication is well known in the industry, since they've now been around for 33 years. Most recently they purchased a brand new 39,000 square foot facility to house their staff, with space that offers room for growth. This includes space to embed companies to create an even richer training experience. Several clients are already participating in this brand new program.
Ron says Allen Communication is closely connected with instructional design programs at major universities around the state, actively recruiting students. With around 100 designers on staff in Utah alone, they're also contributing to Utah's strong employment base, making them a part of Utah having one of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation at 3.6 percent.
Allen Communication is so successful they average over 30 awards per year for their design plus they're recognized by the American Association for Training and Development for their work.
