LOGAN — Utah State wide receiver Bruce "JoJo" Natson was named to the 40-player watch list for the College Football Performance Awards Punt Returner Trophy, the association announced Friday.
Utah’s Geoffrey Norwood also made the watch list, along with Boise State’s Shane Williams-Rhodes, Colorado State’s Joe Hansley and Hawaii’s Scott Harding.
Natson, a junior from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, ranked 22nd in the nation in punt returns with an average of 11.3 yards for 351 yards on 31 returns, including a Mountain West Conference-leading two punts returned for a touchdown.
The 5-foot-7, 151-pound Natson was the only player in the country with multiple touchdowns rushing (3), receiving (2) and returning (2) in 2013.
The 2014 College Football Performance Awards will be announced Jan. 14, 2015 by the seventh-year committee.
