MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A free one-day medical clinic is being offered in Madison for people without insurance.
The National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics is offering the clinic all day on Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Alliant Energy Center.
The clinic will provide basic primary and preventive care to anyone in the area who has limited or no access to health care. Organizers of the event say patients will also receive information about local resources and health care providers.
Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help assist with the clinic which will run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
