OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Ju Ju Eyeballs took the lead in the stretch and drew off to win the $60,000 Klassy Briefcase Stakes at Monmouth Park on Sunday, beating Indian Splendor by 1¾ lengths.
Trained by Jason Servis and ridden by Paco Lopez, the 4-year-old filly covered the 5½ furlongs on a firm turf course in 1:01 1/5 and returned $6.40, $4.60 and $3.40. It was her seventh win in 14 career starts.
Indian Splendor paid $14.40 and $7.80, while Aquinnah was a neck back in third and returned $5.60.
