(KSL News) -- Police say a parent's quick thinking saved a child from downing today in a pool in Sandy near 1947 E. Jardim Circle.
Officers say the four-year-old was swimming in a backyard pool with other children, when his mother noticed he was missing. She was attending to a younger child when she looked into the pool, and found the boy face down. She and other parents quickly rescued the child, and performed CPR to revive him.
Firefighters then arrived, and took him to Primary Children's Medical Center as a precaution.
Police say he's in good condition this afternoon.
