CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — University of Central Arkansas head softball coach David Kuhn has announced that right-handed pitcher Shivaun Landeros will join the Bears after transferring to the school from Appalachian State University.

A native of Sparks, Nevada, Landeros brings two years of experience to the Bears.

As a freshman in 2013, the righty went 11-7 with two saves and a 3.91 ERA.

During her sophomore campaign this season, Landeros turned in a record of 9-13 and added two more saves while lowering her ERA to 3.58.

Kuhn says Landeros brings two years of Division I experience to the team, and already has 20 wins and four saves in her career.
