Vandersloot out 6-to-10 weeks with sprained knee

CHICAGO (AP) — Sky point guard Courtney Vandersloot will be sidelined for 6-to-10 weeks with a sprain in her left knee the team announced Monday.

Vandersloot hurt the medial collateral ligament in the final seconds of Chicago's victory over the New York Liberty on Friday night when she ran into a hard screen by Plenette Pierson.

The Sky are already without star forward Elena Delle Donne, who is sidelined indefinitely while dealing with Lyme disease flare up.
