ST. GEORGE — Nine people were arrested in a prostitution sting Friday.
St. George police placed ads on several websites. Men who answered the ad would then call a female police decoy to arrange a meeting. At some point during their discussions, either on the phone or once they met in person, the men offered the woman money in exchange for sex acts, according to St. George police.
The men, who were arrested for investigation of patronizing a prostitute, ranged in age from 24 to 63. The majority of those arrested came from Iron or Washington counties. One man who was arrested was from Heber City.
