BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Nevada man police say forced women into prostitution in Boise has been charged with four felonies. KTVB-TV reports that Roderich Hugh Aaron of Las Vegas was jailed in Boise yesterday on $1 million bond. Police say that officers on Wednesday investigated after receiving reports of prostitutes operating out of a hotel on Airport Way, and that some of the women appeared to be coerced.

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — A new judge has been appointed to preside over the trial of a man charged with killing his estranged wife. The Lewiston Tribune reports that Senior Judge Carl Kerrick will take over after the previous judge recused himself this week. Charles Capone is charged with killing his estranged wife Rachael Anderson of Clarkston, Washington, in 2010.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A pedestrian died yesterday after being hit by a pickup truck in Twin Falls. A city spokesman tells The Times-News that the man was hit shortly before 11 a.m. The driver remained at the scene. Police are investigating. Names haven't been released.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The last remaining paid staffer at the Idaho Republican Party has left, leaving embattled state chairman Barry Peterson alone at the helm. Financial director Mary Tipps Smith says she left her position Wednesday after about a month on the job. Chaos and division have plagued Idaho's GOP ever since the state convention ended in a meltdown several weeks ago.
