ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The Orlando Magic have selected Iowa's Devyn Marble with the No. 56 pick in the NBA draft.
Marble was named first team All-Big Ten as a senior, averaging 17 points per game. He ranks fifth all-time in Iowa history with 1,694 points.
It was the third pick in the draft for Orlando. The 6-foot-6 Marble joins Arizona's Aaron Gordon, who was selected fourth overall and Louisiana-Lafayette's Elfrid Payton, acquired by trading the No. 12 pick to Philadelphia.
Orlando received the 56th overall pick from Denver after trading swingman Arron Afflalo back to the Nuggets for point guard Evan Fournier earlier on Thursday.
