SAO PAULO (AP) — Chile has left midfielder Arturo Vidal out of its starting lineup for the World Cup Group B decider against the Netherlands.

The Juventus star underwent knee surgery last month and has hurt his right Achilles tendon while in Brazil. Charles Aranguiz, who has a minor right knee sprain, will start the match in Sao Paulo. Coach Jorge Sampaoli brought in Felipe Gutierrez for Vidal.

Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal was forced to juggle his lineup because captain Robin van Persie is suspended and defender Bruno Martins Indi is out with a concussion.

He brought in striker Jeremain Lens, while veteran forward Dirk Kuyt makes his 99th international appearance and Georginio Wijnaldum joins the midfield in place of Jonathan de Guzman.
