COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The director of South Carolina's probation department is set to address the newest class of graduates from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services director Kela Thomas is speaking Friday at basic law enforcement graduation exercises.
The ceremony is taking place at the academy's Gymnasium on Broad River Road in Columbia. More than 60 officers from departments across the state are set to graduate.
