WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) — West Valley City police are investigating after three women reported a man who either looked into their home or came inside through unlocked doors.

Authorities say the first reported incident happened about 5 a.m. on Tuesday, when a man entered an older woman's home. Police say the man didn't say anything, but tried to attack the woman.

Officials say she screamed for help, and the suspect fled.

Another incident happened about 40 minutes later, when a woman saw a man watching her through the glass door of her home.

The woman says she reached for the phone and yelled that she was calling police. The man fled.

A third incident happened Wednesday night, when a woman reported stranger in her home. He later fled.

Police believe the incidents are related.
