(KSL News) -- The Davis County jail has a bigger kitchen to help feed inmates for less money.
Today Sheriff Bud Cox led a tour of the new facility, which will prepare food for close to 500 inmates every day.
The old kitchen was only designed to cook for 193 inmates, making it inefficient and not cost-effective.
The kitchen will also be used to prepare food for the Davis County Meals on Wheels program.
