LEHI — As you’re probably aware, Utah has recently had one or two big windstorms that caused car accidents, damaged property and uprooted trees.
But at least one person got a good laugh out of the windstorms, and luckily he caught it on video and shared it on YouTube for of us all to enjoy.
Lehi resident and well-known blogger Dan Pearce (Single Dad Laughing) was outside during one storm, likely looking to film the mayhem and damage the high winds were causing.
But as he focused in on a porta-potty, something funny happened. Instead of falling over and rolling down the street, flinging its unmentionable contents into the wind, the porta-potty began scooting along the road on its base.
Not unlike a Western movie, the porta-potty skids toward the horizon. And as any good cowboy would do, the porta-potty kindly misses ramming into a car and gives a little wave with its door before heading for the hills.
Alternatively, think of the porta-potty as a small parade float that looks like it’s being driven from the inside. The porta-potty even waves to the onlookers on his parade route, perhaps dreaming of parading in the “big leagues” of Provo’s of July 4 Grand Parade or Salt Lake’s Days of 47 Parade.
Either way, that porta-potty is making the best out of a bad situation for our enjoyment.
