Altus Advisory Partners CEO Scott Lurding to Speak on 'Fostering
Student Success' at Academic Affairs Meeting
WASHINGTON, April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Higher education consulting
firm Altus Advisory Partners announced today that it will participate
in the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU)
2014 Summer Academic Affairs Meeting. The event will run from July 31
to August 3 at Harborbeach Marriott Resort, 3030 Holiday Dr. in Ft.
Lauderdale, Fla. The theme for AASCU's Academic Affairs Summer Meeting
is "Fostering Student Success: Programs and Practices."

At the meeting, Altus founder and CEO Scott Lurding will co-present a
session along with an Altus client that is an AASCU member. The two
will discuss a project to improve student employment outcomes at the
client university. Lurding was selected by AASCU to present at the
meeting based on his firm's unique work to improve employer alignment
and student employment outcomes for their university clients.
Lurding has 20 years of experience in higher education, consulting and
business. He served as the Associate Secretary, Chief Financial
Officer and Chief Operating Officer, of the Phi Beta Kappa Society for
ten years. Prior to that, he worked at consulting firms CEB and
Accenture. Lurding is the author of a Harvard Business School case and
has been a guest lecturer at the McDonough School of Business at
Georgetown University. He received his MBA from the Harvard Business
School.
