MILWAUKEE (AP) — Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap will sit out the team's regular season finale Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks to rest for the playoffs.

Millsap averages 17.9 points and 8.5 rebounds. He was also held out of Monday night's home finale against Charlotte, a 95-93 loss, along with Kyle Korver and DeMarre Carroll. The three starters had being rested with nagging injuries, none considered serious.

Korver and Carroll will play Wednesday against the Bucks. But coach Mike Budenholzer said Korver, Carroll and point guard Jeff Teague won't see extensive minutes.

Atlanta is the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference and will face Indiana in the first round of the playoffs.
