RENO, Nev. (AP) — Authorities have identified the pilot who died in the crash of a small, home-built helicopter at Reno Stead Airport. Washoe County sheriff's officials say 46-year-old Michael Seeliger was the only person on board when the privately owned, single seat aircraft known as a helicycle crashed shortly after noon on Sunday.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal shooting at an intersection south of the Strip and west of the Henderson Airport. Police say nearby residents reported a man running in a desert area before collapsing shortly before 7:30 last night. Police tell KLAS-TV that the man died from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers are canvassing the area.

FERNLEY, Nev. (AP) — The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a car in Fernley. The patrol says the accident occurred last night in a marked crosswalk. Troopers say the driver of the car is cooperating with authorities and no charges have been filed. The woman has not yet been identified.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Entertainer Flavor Flav is pleading guilty to reduced charges in a Las Vegas domestic violence case in a move that will avoid a trial and possible jail time. The 55-year-old rapper and reality TV star acknowledged in court yesterday that he wielded a kitchen knife during an October 2012 argument at home with his longtime girlfriend's 17-year-old son.
