AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — Joe Dumars has stepped down as president of basketball operations for the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons are going to miss out on their fifth straight post season with a record of 29-52 with just one game remaining.
BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Fullback Chris Pressley has signed with the Cleveland Browns. He missed all of last season with Cincinnati because of a knee injury after making 20 career starts in the NFL for the Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators are looking for a new head coach as Barry Trotz was fired today after 16 seasons on the job. Trotz was the NHL's longest tenured head coach with one team, having coached 1,196 games with Nashville.
