''AMERICAN IDOL" - MALAYA

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Malaya (muh-LY'-uh) Watson has a bright future, being the youngest finalist in "American Idol" history. But before she starts her music career she hopes to get her braces off. She says she was hoping to get rid of them two years ago, but the dentist said no. She also has to finish her junior year in high school. She says it's going to be "very different" going back to school after Idol, but she says she's "ready for whatever comes up." Watson was planning on playing her tuba next week if she hadn't been voted off. Now, she says she hopes to play it on the Idol tour.

CHRISTINA HENDRICKS DOESN'T WANT KIDS

NEW YORK (AP) — Christina Hendricks hasn' changed her mind about not having kids. She knows that upsets a lot of people. She tells Health magazine that she and her husband "are not really interested." She says there's only "a small chance" she could change her mind. Hendricks says she's perfectly happy with a husband and a dog. She says she recently woke up to find her husband cooking, music playing and their dog chewing on a bone. She thought "this is perfect."

JAMES FRANCO NOT NERVOUS BEFORE HIS BROADWAY DEBUT

NEW YORK (AP) — James Franco insists he's not been nervous at all about making his Broadway debut this Wednesday. He says he's not bragging, it's just that when you work with people you trust, "you just flow with it." Franco co-stars with Chris O'Dowd in "Of Mice and Men."

SOPHIA VERGARA - EATING IS MY HOBBY

NEW YORK (AP) — Sophia Vergara loves to eat. She tells Women's Health magazine that eating is her "hobby." She says it's what she does with her friends, her fiance and her son. Vergara makes sure she eats right during the week, but all bets are off on the weekend. Then she goes to spinning class to sweat off any pounds she gained.

STEPHEN BALDWIN PAYS OFF HIS BACK TAXES

NEW YORK (AP) — Stephen Baldwin is square with the IRS. He paid the rest of the back taxes he owed the state of New York with a check for $100,000. Baldwin admitted that he didn't pay state taxes for three years. The total, plus interest and penalties, came to $400,000.

''RIO 2" - NIGEL THE COCKATOO

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Nigel the cockatoo is a method actor. He has a scene in "Rio 2" where he's emotionally and physically run down. Speaking for Nigel, Jemaine Clement says he plucked out all his hair, wrote down the most depressing thoughts he could think of on pieces of paper and glued them all over his body. Nigel didn't like filming in the Amazon. He says there were "no newspapers, no plumbing, nowhere to get your claws done." He also resented having to drink out of a puddle instead of a bottle of "fizzy water." He says it made him feel like an animal. Rio 2 opened today.

IMAGINE DRAGONS, LUKE BRYAN ADDED TO BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) — Imagine Dragons and Luke Bryan will perform at the Billboard Awards next month. John Legend and OneRepublic will also perform. The awards show will air on ABC May 18.

''ROSEMARY'S BABY" REMAKE AIRING NEXT MONTH

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The "Rosemary's Baby" remake airs next month. Zoe Saldana plays the role Mia Farrow made famous. The four-hour adaptation will air in two parts on NBC. The first is on May 11 and the second is on May 15.

''DRAFT DAY" - KEVIN COSTNER

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kevin Costner has been in more than his share of sports movies, so he knows the formula for making a good one. He says "you gotta cut down on the sports." He says "you have to make it about people." Costner says that's what they did in "Bull Durham" and "Field of Dreams," and that's what they did in his new movie "Draft Day," which takes place during the NFL draft. He says the worst thing would be to try to impress moviegoers with your knowledge of sports. Draft Day opened today.
