SOUTH SALT LAKE — I-15 southbound has been reopened after being closed for several hours near the 3300 South exit.

All lanes of I-15 were closed for several hours Wednesday morning after a car accident, according to the Utah Department of Transportation Traffic Center. The lanes were closed during the clean up, and officials had all drivers exit the freeway at the 3300 South exit.

The westbound I-80 freeway exit heading southbound was also closed for about one hour due to a separate traffic accident. UDOT officials diverted I-80 traffic westbound on SR 201 during the closure.
