ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons have added two potential starters to their secondary by signing safety Dwight Lowery and cornerback Josh Wilson.

Lowery has 41 career starts with the Jets and Jaguars. He started three games with Jacksonville in 2013 before sustaining a concussion on the first play at Seattle on Sept. 22. He later was placed on injured reserve and released.

Lowery, a fourth-round pick by the Jets in 2008, has 10 career interceptions.

Wilson, a second-round pick by Seattle in 2006, has started in 81 of his 102 career games with the Seahawks, Baltimore and Washington. He started all 16 games with the Redskins last season and set a career high with 93 tackles. He has 14 career interceptions, including one last season.

Terms of Tuesday's deals were not released.
