TRANSACT 14: Powered By ETA Opens to Record Crowd

WASHINGTON, April 8, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Electronic

Transactions Association (ETA), the global trade association

representing the payments technology world, today opened its doors on

the largest event in the organization's 25-year history. TRANSACT 14,

which launches today and runs until April 10 at the Mandalay Bay

Convention Center in Las Vegas, will welcome thousands of attendees

from around the world, keynote speakers from Visa, Google and

Verifone, and hundreds of exhibitors launching their newest payments

and technology innovations.

On the reasons behind the show's year-on-year growth, CEO Jason Oxman

TRANSACT 14 features a show floor with a gross square footage of

the $50,000 E-Pay Innovations Award sponsored by the Bill and Melinda

Gates foundation will be announced on Wednesday, along with the

state of the payments industry and latest policies from Washington.

Throughout the show attendees will have the opportunity to network at

popular events including the President's Dinner on Wednesday evening

and TRANSACT closing party in the Shark Reef aquarium on Thursday.
