(KSL News) Salt Lake City police are investigating a report that someone put a baby up for sale on a television station Web site.
The classified ad appeared briefly on KUTV.com until a viewer reported the ad to police. It appeared under the "baby and children items" category and offered a 6-month-old baby girl for sale for $6,560.
The poster of the ad was listed as Pauline Burgman, but investigators have not been able to contact her.
If you have any information on the identity of this child or the person who posted the ad, contact Salt Lake City police at 799-3000. They would like to verify the safety and well-being of the baby.
