SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Florida and Wake Forest will play in the 2014 Orange Bowl Basketball Classic.
Florida State and South Florida also will square off in the event, which is scheduled for Dec. 20 at BB&T Center.
The Gators and Demon Deacons have played 11 times previously, with the last meeting coming in 2005. Florida is 6-5 in the series.
This will mark the 10th consecutive year the Orange Bowl Classic will be held at BB&T Center. Game times will be announced at a later date.
The Gators will make their 16th appearance in the Orange Bowl Classic, where they are 13-2. Coming off a 17-16 season that included wins over Duke and North Carolina, the Demon Deacons will make their first appearance in the event.
