LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Sparks have signed free agent guard Candice Wiggins, who has averaged double-figure scoring in four of her six WNBA seasons.
Wiggins played last season with the Tulsa Shock after playing for Minnesota from 2008-12, where she averaged 10.1 points under then-head coach Gary Kloppenburg, currently a Sparks assistant. Wiggins came off the bench to help the Lynx win the 2011 WNBA championship.
Wiggins joins fellow Stanford alum Nneka Ogwumike on the Sparks' roster.
