MAJESTY ROSE

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Majesty Rose didn't go home empty-handed when she was voted off "American Idol." Carrie Underwood gave her and all the remaining singers gifts. The girls got necklaces with their initials on them and handwritten notes. Underwood wrote to Rose to "keep smiling." The guys got dog tags with their names on them. When Rose heard she'd gotten the lowest number of votes, she grabbed the microphone and started twirling around the stage because she was "truly happy" to be singing for the save. She didn't get it, though. Rose says that's OK. She was singing more for herself than for the save.
