AMSTERDAM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar 27, 2014--Ledzworld, the innovator behind the top brands in commercial LED lighting, will display at Light + Building next week a breakthrough color temperature adjustable LED MR16 lamp that perfectly emulates the color tones of halogen light bulbs when dimmed. Seen as a large barrier to wider adoption of LED lighting, full-linear dimming has been an obstacle for many manufacturers. LED MR16 lamps on the market today simply reduce light output when dimmed, but maintain the same correlated color temperature (CCT) throughout the dimming. This leaves much to be desired when it comes to the ambience in a room.
Utilizing a second generation of the company’s patented and award-winning “Color Temperature Adjusted” (CTA®) dimming technology, Ledzworld’s new CTA 2.0 LED MR16 lamp not only adjusts the light output strength while being dimmed, but also gradually transform from a bright soft tone color temperature at the highest level, to a warm flame color at the lowest dimming level. The CCT on the new lamp will range down from 2700K to 1600K depending on the dimming level, and adjustments can be made to meet customers’ specific demands.
