New York Women's Chamber of Commerce Launches a Nationwide Business

Magazine

NEW YORK, March 26, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ogilvy & Mather

continues to salute Women's History Month with the launch of

Empresaria, a refreshingly bold magazine poised to bring the best

resource guide to all women's chambers of commerce and affiliated

businesses nationwide. With exclusive interviews and features from

successful women entrepreneurs as well as world known icons such as

Carolina Herrera, this new publication will inspire its readers to

celebrate those already in business or inspire them to take the first

step in starting their own business. The event will be held on March

26th from 6-8pm at Ogilvy's global headquarters in New York City.

Empresaria is the first magazine of its kind geared towards the career

focused Latina woman entrepreneur and aims to be the most informative

source for those aspiring to achieve their professional goals.

Readers can expect to find in-depth articles with advice on

entrepreneurial issues to business and money management plus more.

Empresaria Magazine will be published quarterly, four times a year

with 10,000 copies distributed free of charge to approved beauty

salons, Chambers of Commerce, business development organizations,

financing institutions, special events and by subscription. The

magazine will be published in Spanish with key articles translated

into English and will have a social media presence (web page, Twitter

and Facebook), in order to promote relevant conversations among

readers. Coming soon, www.empresariausa.com where it will house an

online version of the magazine.

Empresaria Magazine will also host two events throughout the year

which include the annual "Empresaria" awards ceremony where the most

highlighted Latina entrepreneur will be recognized for their

achievements and contributions in their respective fields. In

addition, there will be the "Empresaria" conference, to promote and

share key Latina entrepreneurship insights and trends of the industry.
