(KSL News) -- A motorist found himself snarled in high voltage power lines this evening.
The support arms of a commercial truck got tangled up in the wires as it drove down 5600 west. That pulled down two power poles and the live wires.
One of the poles and some of the wires landed on Rick Smith's car.
Rick Smith, Motorist: "I just saw the sparks, the flames and the fire started. Fortunately the wire finally snapped and I just dragged the telephone pole down the road."
No one was hurt. The truck was inspected at the scene and its owner will be cited for causing the accident.
