John W. Szerdi Named Keynote Speaker At Energypath 2014
ALLENTOWN, Pa., March 19, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- John W.
Szerdi, an architect specializing in environmental and green building
design and a LEED accredited professional since 2004, will be the
keynote speaker at Energypath 2014, a program of Sustainable Energy
Fund. Szerdi will speak at the keynote dinner on Thursday, June 19, at
6:30 p.m. at Albright College, Reading, Pennsylvania.
Szerdi is president of LDG Florida Architects, Inc, an architectural
firm in Lake Worth, Florida. He has extensive experience integrating
sustainable technology and other natural energy and water systems into
diverse environmental project applications. Some of his work includes
El Monte Sagrado Resort, Taos, New Mexico; Angel Fire Resort, Angel
Fire, New Mexico; Sundy House, Delray Beach, Florida; EcoPlex, West
Palm Beach, Florida; Yaxche School, Taos, New Mexico; Turtle River
Montessori School, Jupiter, Florida; EcoCentre, The Living Building,
Lake Worth, Florida; and Destiny, Florida's first eco-sustainable
city.
Energypath, Pennsylvania's largest sustainable energy conference, will
be held from Monday, June 16, through Friday, June 20, at Albright
College, Reading, Pennsylvania. Events include:
-- Energy camps (June 16 to 18) that combine hands-on and classroom
training in solar photovoltaic, micro hydro and biomass technologies;
an introduction to sustainable energy; and energy efficiency.
-- Conference and Expo (June 19 to 20) featuring more than 70 speakers
presenting on a wide range of sustainable energy topics focusing on
economic, technical, political and social issues and exhibitors
sharing the latest developments in the sustainable energy industry.
-- Science Fair (June 20) for middle school and high school students.
The theme of Energypath 2014 is Convergence:How the interaction
between energy producing, conversion, and management technologies is
changing the energy industry and can provide safe, affordable,
reliable and sustainable energy.
