MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The defending WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx will have a new look next season.

The Lynx have entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Mayo Clinic. Their jerseys will now read Mayo Clinic across the front rather than Lynx. They are the sixth team in the league to enter into a sponsorship agreement that features a company's name as the primary logo rather than the team name.

The Lynx are also partnering with the Mayo Clinic on a new practice facility just across the street from the arena. Mayo Clinic Square will be home to practice courts for both the NBA's Timberwolves and the Lynx, who have won two of the past three WNBA titles.

WNBA President Laurel Richie calls it the most extensive sponsorship arrangement in the league.
