CHICAGO (AP) — Megan Rogowski and Megan Podkowa scored 17 points apiece as top-seeded DePaul beat No. 8 seed Georgetown in a Big East tournament quarterfinal matchup on Sunday.

Rogowski made three 3-pointers and Podkowa hit 5 of 8 shots for DePaul (25-6). Jessica January added 11 points.

Georgetown held an early 18-14 lead before DePaul went on an 11-0 run, seven by Podkowa, for a 25-18 lead. DePaul scored the final six points of the half to lead 33-22.

Then Rogowski started and capped a 10-0 run with 3-pointers for a 43-22 advantage and DePaul led by double-digits the entire second half.

Logan Battle paced Georgetown (11-21) with 20 points. Natalie Butler added eight points and 11 rebounds.

DePaul converted 24 of 24 free throws, while Georgetown hit just five of their 10 attempts.
