NEW YORK (AP) — How raced to her second straight victory with a front-running effort Sunday in the $67,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
The 4-year-old trained by Rudy Rodriguez and ridden by Cornelio Velasquez was the 3-5 favorite following her maiden victory last month. How beat Carameaway by 2¼ lengths, paying $3.20, $2.10 and $2.10.
The time was 1:42.73 for a mile and 70 yards on the fast track.
Carameaway returned $2.80 and $2.10, and Gloria Victoria paid $2.40 to show.
