OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Chassidy Fussell scored 16 points and Nneka Enemkpali added 13 rebounds as third-seeded Texas defeated No. 6 seed Oklahoma 82-72 in the Big 12 quarterfinals on Saturday night.

Imani McGee-Stafford added 15 points and Enemkpali chipped in 10 for Texas (21-10), which will go up against second-seeded and seventh-ranked West Virginia (28-3) in the semifinals on Sunday.

Oklahoma (18-14) held a seven-point advantage at the break — despite shooting 37.9 percent from the floor — after the Sooners knocked down eight 3-pointers in the first half. The Longhorns opened up the second half on a 12-2 run, however, to take the lead for good.

The Sooners, who shot 50 percent (8 of 16) from distance at the break, cooled off in the second half, finishing with 13 3-pointers on 33 attempts. Aaryn Ellenberg scored 21 points for Oklahoma and Sharane Campbell added 12.
