Japan's Takanashi wins ski jump

OSLO, Norway (AP) — Japan teenage ski jumper Sara Takanashi won her 13th World Cup of the season at Holmenkollen on Saturday.

Takanashi beat Katja Pozun of Slovenia and fellow Japanese Yuki Ito, grabbing 257.6 points after two jumps of 132 meters and 128.5 meters.

Pozun leaped 122 meters and 122.5 meters, while Ito flew 122.5 meters and 125 meters.

Takanashi, who has already won the overall title, extended her total to 1,520 points, nearly twice as much as second-place Carina Vogt of Germany, who has 761 points. Irina Avvakumova of Russia was third with 692.

A men's jump was scheduled for Sunday at Holmenkollen.
