NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) — Jalan West pumped in 26 points and Zikiteran Woodley added 24 more to lead Northwestern State to a 119-102 win over Central Arkansas on Thursday night.

Northwestern State (15-13, 11-6 Southland Conference) retook the lead on a pair of Patrick Robinson free throws that made it 53-52 early in the second half and never trailed again. It was the Demons' third-highest point total against a Division-1 opponent this season.

Both teams shot hot from the field — 40 of 67 (60 percent) for the Demons and 42 of 77 (55 percent) for Central Arkansas (8-20, 5-12). The difference came at the free throw line, with Northwestern State scoring nearly three times as many points on 29-of-40 shooting.

DeQuan Hicks contributed 12 points and six assists for Northwestern State, which has won three in a row.

LaQuentin Miles led four Bears players in double digits with 34 points and 12 rebounds.
