BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — George Fant scored 13 of his 18 points in the second half as Western Kentucky held on to defeat Louisiana-Lafayette 75-72 on Thursday night.

T.J. Price made a pair of free throws to give Western Kentucky its largest lead of the second half, 63-55 with 3:26 remaining.
