DORAL, Fla. (AP) — Tiger Woods only made it through six holes in his return to golf, but only because of thunderstorms at Doral.

The opening round of the Cadillac Championship was delayed for more than two hours Thursday because of a band of storms that eventually dumped rain on the new Blue Monster. Woods was 1-over par through six holes.

The round was to resume Thursday afternoon.

PGA champion Jason Dufner ran off four birdies early in his round and was leading at 5-under through 10 holes. Russell Henley, coming off a win last week in the Honda Classic, was 4-under through 10 holes on the other side of the course.

Woods withdrew midway through the final round of the Honda Classic because of lower back pain.
