INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Colts made a flurry of moves Thursday, releasing starting center Samson Satele and making qualifying offers to three players set to become free agents next week.

Satele was one of the first free agents Indianapolis signed two years ago when they started rebuilding, but he was hobbled by injuries in both seasons. Indianapolis saves about $4 million under the $133 million salary cap.

Indy also announced it made an exclusive rights tender to outside linebacker Cam Johnson as well as tenders to cornerback Josh Gordy and offensive guard Joe Reitz.

All three can become free agents next week, but Johnson cannot sign with another team.

Those moves came hours after Indy signed free agent linebacker D'Qwell Jackson in their first big offseason transaction.
