PORCUPINE, S.D. (AP) — Students from across South Dakota will gather March 15 to compete in an archery tournament co-sponsored by the Shannon County School District and the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department.
The West River Regional National Archery in the Schools Program Tournament at Rockyford Elementary School in Porcupine is open to students who have participated in NASP at a school with a certified instructor
More than 200 young archers from across the region are expected to participate. Trophies will be awarded after the competition has ended.
Student archers are encouraged to bring their own unmodified Genesis bows.
