Chelsea Douglas added 20 points for Wake Forest (15-15), which will take on sixth-seeded North Carolina on Thursday.

Pittsburgh pulled within four on an Ashlee Anderson layup with 17:03 remaining, but the Demon Deacons rattled off the next 12 points, including six by Milan Quinn, to open up a 50-34 advantage with 12:40 to play. Pitt (11-20), which was playing in its first ever ACC tournament, went more than 5 minutes without scoring during that stretch and never again got closer than down nine.
