NEW YORK (AP) — Kevin Garnett will sit out a third straight game because of back spasms when the Brooklyn Nets host Memphis on Wednesday night.
Garnett hasn't played since last Thursday at Denver. The Nets listed him as a game-time decision on Tuesday, but ruled him out Wednesday morning.
Rookie Mason Plumlee started at center in the Nets' victories at Milwaukee on Saturday and against Chicago at home on Monday.
