CINCINNATI (AP) — After leading the American Athletic Conference most of the way, No. 15 Cincinnati finds itself needing a couple of closing wins to get a title.

The Bearcats (24-5, 13-3) have squandered their lead by losing three of their last five games, including their last two. They're tied with No. 11 Louisville (24-5, 13-3) for first place. No. 18 Southern Methodist (23-6, 12-4) is a game behind.

Cincinnati has worked on its struggling offense the last few days in practice. The Bearcats have scored 57 or fewer points in those three AAC losses.

The Bearcats host No. 20 Memphis on Thursday and finish the regular season at Rutgers on Saturday. Louisville is at SMU and home against No. 19 Connecticut to finish it out.
