Chris Kaye ReportingA Hurricane Katrina evacuee has gotten the opportunity of a lifetime.
When Kendall Collins left New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, he had no idea that he would be graduating from West Jordan High School and possibly playing college football.
"I like to play football, but I never played in high school. I just played in the street. Up here I got asked to play for Weber State, so I might do that."
Collins says he loves his new school and his grades have greatly improved.
"They are way better then they were down there. I'm getting A's and B's instead of C's and D's and I like it here."
Collins says he isn't sure if college is for him. But for a chance to play football, he might just give it a try.
