SOCHI — The Extreme Park at Rosa Khutor is about 30 miles northeast of Sochi and it is one of five different mountain venues from which NBC is broadcasting. But it is here where the snowboarding and freestyle skiing disciplines take place.

There are 90 NBC staff at the Extreme Park, two control rooms and 80 cameras.

There are producers, directors communicating with the camera men as well as the commentators working the event. And there is a truck where the replays are generated.

Inside the TOC, the technical operations center, everything that happens at the venue is edited then pushed to the broadcast center at olympic park and then beamed to home televisions in the U.S.

Jonny Moseley, the 1998 gold medalist in moguls and an analyst here at the 2014 games, enjoys his route to get to the venue.

"We discovered this little path. I think it was made by the workers," Moseley said." Not only is it a beautiful setting, but the chairlift with the athletes rides right over me so this path really provides me some serious access and it happens to take us right into my venue."

One crew that helps run the show is run by Orem based director Nate Hill.

"Utah has got a lot of really good talent in TV production," Hill said. "Those are the guys I look to and they come with us, we have a good time."

KSL's Alex Cabrero talked to the crew of Hill and will talk to them during the KSL News at 10 p.m.
